Description :

E8018-B2 is a basis coated hydrogen controlled electrode for low alloy and creep-resisting CrMo steels

Can operate at maximum temperature of 550ºC

Suitable for welding of thick steam pipe and repairing of cast steel

Low spatter loss and easy slag detachment

Application :

Welding of creep resisting steels Cr-Mo type (e.g. BS 1501-620, 621) and equivalent castings and forging

Remarks :

Preheat at 200 - 250ºC

Stress relieve at 620ºC

Keep the arc as short as possible
